Macro View

Everything is beautiful and silly and passing. What's left after the passing of our insignificance? I had hoped for so much more; I had hoped that something matters.

Beauty is truth, truth beauty. The Gospel according to Keats.
Matter matters. Obviously. Matter is energy. Energy is intelligence.
What is. What else?

Vanity of vanities. All is vanity. The Gospel according to Solomon. The wisest man in the World.
Or was it King David?

Here now. Hell tomorrow. The Gospel according to today.
Drink and be merry.

Greenfrog; I don't know. Maybe when the idealism does. As they say, hope springs eternal.

Precious stones are just minerals, but they are prized for their beauty and transparency. So, they are both insignificant and significant at the same time. That is the paradox.

You are Consciousness. The Universe experiences Life through you. You are insignificant and significant at the same time. You are always Loved, and in reality, you are Love and Joy and all those other things personified.hmctcvr

After passing? Who says there's an after? Passing and transformation are eternal... the essence never changes, the manifestation always does.

We don't mourn the passing of the puddle as it dries up, but we do mourn our own passing from these brief houses. With a larger view, we'd probably see that as the water becomes water vapor and returns eventually to water the earth, so Spirit too, is continually espressing Itself in new, ever-changing forms.
