One approach.

What does one do when in crisis? Find some conversation that tends to circle around the heart of things, in hope of shedding some light on universal truth, and letting that work its way into the particulars of whatever question has been laid aside, waiting for understanding to develop. At least that's my take on it.

Ya, I'd say that works for me too. Everything ok?

Sometimes you can do everything right and still get into trouble. When all freedom is stripped from an individual, the last freedom one has is how one reacts to the situation according to Viktor Frankel. In most other matters, it comes down to drama, but one can react positively or negatively to that drama. There is some forgiveness involved since decent people make mistakes. It's the indecent people that one must look out for. We have prisons to keep those monsters in.

Me? I articulate the situation as clearly as I can to myself, then I set it aside, practice, live.

Sometimes it returns in a different hue.

It's hard to respond appropriately, because I don't know exactly what you're writing about. I hope things are OK with you, but it sounds like they're not.

So remember, you know how to reach me.

I brainwash myself. Positive thinking. It will help you thru the crisis.
